We are volunteers who buy rice, beans, oil and fresh bread, then cook and serve it where the need is greatest, mostly across Africa and in other places where hunger is at its worst. Nothing is stored, nothing is skimmed. What comes in goes out the same week.

Community kitchens
We set up simple kitchens in villages and refugee settlements, hiring local women to cook for their own neighbors.

Family rations
When a harvest fails or a parent cannot work, we deliver bags of rice, beans and oil so a family can eat for a month.

Most of our kitchens and food lines are in Africa. When crisis strikes elsewhere, we go there too.
